We are a non-profit organisation here with 45 users, and we are attempting to streamline our purcashing systems to an electronic format. Some of you may ask why!

Anyway we use Quantum as our accounting software, and while this does tracked purchase orders it's not capable of doing what we want - hence this post.

We have 4 seperate units within the building and at the moment each group has a different coloured requistion form so if they need something, it can be put forward and is recognisable by the colour. This is working, but is clunky and open to handling errors.

What I would like to see is some sort of intranet-based system where people can fill out their own Reqs, these are passed electronically to the manager of that group who authorises it (or not) and then this is passed to admin for a purchase order or cheque, or whatever is required.

This is of course a broad overveiw but the Big Question is: does anyone know of such a system?
