| 300079 | 2004-12-06 19:35:00 | Dell 2400. Running Win Xp. Running Fedora core 1 I have downloaded the Ubuntu 4.1 warty release i386.iso.image As I have lost the use of Nero 5.02 (possibly since SP2) i tried to burn the image to CD in two different ways. 1. extracted all the files with Undisker to HDD folder. Then compiled new Data Disk with Sonic Record Now. 2. Burnt the image to cd with Easy ISO. Both CDs appear to have all files. Neither starts installation when I press F12 to select boot with CDrom. (I can get to the installation point when I use the Fedora setup disk) What am I doing wrong or what am I missing ? Thanks for any help, Antonia |
