300380 2004-12-06 20:43:00 Try 7.54 a released version, not a build beta or technical preview version.

Also, get the install without Java. As, 7.54 which has the Java in it, has the vulnerabilty version of Java in it. You'll have to get the update from the sun site.. 1.4.2.06, which is about 14.9 mb.

300381 2004-12-06 20:45:00 Oops and save the bookmarks u want and uninstall the previous version/s of Opera, you have.. Spacemannz (808)
300382 2004-12-06 23:46:00 It is not a problem with the browser but the webpage it's self.

It only displays properly in IE, average in FF.

The webdisign is shocking!!!!!!!

I could rip the coding to bits, but no one would pay me any money :(

I suggest you email the webmaster and tell him you think it is crap.

300384 2004-12-07 01:35:00 Could be video drivers needing updating or something?? Spacemannz (808)
300385 2004-12-07 01:40:00 Weirdly enough I can now view the page properly with Opera's preferences set to identify as IE . Not sure whether this is because I altered the script and it is still in my cache or not but I don't want to empty the cache to find out .

Try changing your preferences to have Opera identified as IE, restart the browser and see what happens .

> Could be video drivers needing updating or something??

I has got nothing to do with drivers, it is the coding - it has a script incompatible with Opera .

I have emailed the webmaster about it and suggest that those with Opera do the same in order to get the message across . ;-)

300386 2004-12-07 01:43:00 <Opera identified as IE>

My Opera is and has always been <identified as IE>

Thanks

300387 2004-12-07 01:52:00 Then without details of everyone's system (ie version of Windows, IE, Java, etc) I have no idea why others can view the page properly and you cannot .

The webmaster needs to fix it, simple as that . :-)

300388 2004-12-07 01:59:00 I f it can be displayed correct with IE and FF, then would JAVA still has something to do with it. Does not make sense if it does . lightfoot (39)
