| 1357180 | 2004-12-06 22:08:00 | Both lap and desk are firewalled. Desktop does go, but it tends to go down without reason. | arfitty (2716) | ||
| 1357181 | 2004-12-06 22:13:00 | OK and both use ZA then.. Did you try adding the local ips to each other in ZA??? Can you share files?? If u want to share files between the two?? | Spacemannz (808) | ||
| 1357182 | 2004-12-06 22:35:00 | Yep, both network together fine...it's just that sometimes one of them can't or won't access the net - altho oddly enuf, anything downloading in the background keeps on d/ling, altho a ping from the cmd prompt returns no result. ?? | arfitty (2716) | ||
| 1357183 | 2004-12-06 22:46:00 | OK. Did u disable SP'2 firewall if it has ZA on it as well?? I would check control panel / Windows firewall. See if XP's firewall is on first. If it is, See whats under exceptions. If its off, dont worry about the above. Then goto security centre. Whats this say under the firewall?? That ZA is on?? If u have installed ZA on the desktop, what version is installed? As previous versions of ZA didnt like SP2. Maybe thats the prob?? |
