| 300631 | 2004-12-07 20:36:00 | Good morning Team I've got a Word document of 30 pages and would like to insert page numbers from the 3rd page - meaning, the first 2 pages are without numbering and Page 1 starts from the 3rd page of the document. How do I do it? I'm using Office 2003? Cheers |

If I insert start at 3, it will start at page 3, then continue to 4, 5, etc. I want to start from the numbering from page 3, the first 2 pages are without any numbers and then 1, 2, 3, ... |

Delete "Show on First Page" and format as "Continue from Previous Section". Because it has no previous section it will leave it blank. On page 3 of your doc Insert Page Number and format as "Start at Page 1." Because it thinks that it is in a new chapter, off it goes. Sounds goofy but it does work. Good luck. |
