2004-12-07 01:32:00 | I noticed and read a review in, this months PC world, of the Genius KB29e keyboard. It must have been very well written to influence me. anyway I e-mailed Ascent and ordered one. It's the best keyboard I have ever owned. One feature I like is it has a basic calculator built in. You can do a calculation and send it straight into whatever you are working on. And another plus. It only cost $40.00. Not $50 as stated in the review.I'm thinking now of buying the wireless mouse that was also in the review. But I suppose it will be like my cordless joystick. The batteries go flat. Jack

2004-12-07 01:40:00 | this may be ot to this thread but when there was a power cut the other day i realised how dependant we are on power 1 ) Our fish could have died without air provided to them by the pump 2 ) Our food will soon go rotten And many more - but i like it ,and a power cut etc is a rare occurance and i frankly could not live without it </hijack>

2004-12-07 01:58:00 | I use a wireless mouse and keybaord set by Logitech. I've had it for almost 3 years and I've bout 4 sets of mouse batteries, and 3 sets of keyboard batteries (2 AAA's and 2 AA's respectively). They get extremely heavy use so it's a pretty small price to pay - well made equipment is light on the battery usage. Definitely not worth bothering with rechargeable batteries for.

2004-12-07 02:03:00 | i would just buy one of those $20 30 pack batteries. Yet having two sets of rechargable batteries will in the long run be more value for money as you dont have to keep buying batteries - buy a mouse with one of those quick charger bases they are the best ( despite the price ) | noone (22) | |
2004-12-07 02:03:00 | Or you could use un-rechargable as I do. When they go flat I toss the joystick behind my desk and forget about it for a month or so. Then I blame my wife because she didn't buy me new batteries. Women are supposed to know what you want. Jack
