1375875 2014-05-26 04:25:00 What does it say in device manager / when you (or if ) you've installed the software for it? Speedy Gonzales (78)
1375876 2014-05-26 04:29:00 Device can not start (Code 10) NZHawk (4093)
1375877 2014-05-26 04:34:00 Want me to check it out?? Speedy Gonzales (78)
1375878 2014-05-26 04:34:00 It isn't setting itself to a COM# that is already in use by the onboard COM port? CYaBro (73)
1375879 2014-05-26 04:51:00 Nope 3 and 4 are in use, it's on COM 5 at the mo. And not in use. Just checking it out now Speedy Gonzales (78)
1375880 2014-05-26 05:05:00 Looks like this is a common prob with this USB to serial adapter. Prolific PL2303. Just checking out Google for a fix

Go it going I think. Got the install this site mentions (www.edaboard.com). Installed it it says its working. Just have to wait and depending on what it is, see if it does work

1375882 2014-05-26 06:15:00 If not I have the install file as I use those adapters or ones like it but I always use ones that have the prolific chip gary67 (56)
1375883 2014-05-26 06:20:00 NZhawk by the looks of it did have 3-4 drivers, but all of them gave the same error code 10 in device manager. By the looks of it this has something to do with windows installing the wrong file or driver. Or the info in an inf file, had the wrong information in it

Even the last / latest driver on the Prolific site didnt work. Said the same thing - error code 10
