1375780 2014-05-24 10:23:00 I got a blu-ray ISO movie file from a friend of mine, I mounted it onto my Win8.1 but couldn't play back with PowerDVD or VLC.

How do I get it to work?

1375781 2014-05-24 11:43:00 Are either setup to play Blu-ray?

I think you need a dedicated device and programme to play BR :(

How do I get it to work? Get a blu-ray player that will play ISO's. ( VLC is so far behind the times its not worth the download)

Giveawayoftheday has one today - it works good www.giveawayoftheday.com Leawo Blu-ray Player I been using that since their last giveaway, opens ISO's and any other movie format.

Theres also some free ones you can try, Zoomplayer (www.inmatrix.com) - the pro version was a giveaway a few days back. The free one, not to sure about ISO's but if you install that, be care as one page it wants to install some junk program SO READ before saying OK. Then theres one I been playing with ALPlayer (www.altools.com).

BUT give the Leawo Blu-ray Player on giveaway a go, that does work.

Edited: you can go directly to the site www.leawo.org get the License key and download directly Via email, that way you dont need giveaways time limited package installer ;) Last time I managed to install it on several device last time over 2-3 weeks :D

1375783 2014-05-24 12:10:00 Just forgot to include -- if who ever made the ISO didn't do it correctly no player will play it. Blu-Ray can be tricky sometimes. wainuitech (129)
1375784 2014-05-24 13:49:00 Thanks, wainuitech. Downloaded and installed the 'giveaway' Leawo Blu-ray Player - it plays the ISO brilliantly. bk T (215)
1375785 2014-05-24 22:38:00 I can't get it :( .

I get a message saying:

Windows cannot complete the extraction .
The destination file could not be created .

I've had this message before, but don't know what to do to 'fix' it?
