1361079 2013-11-29 01:08:00 Thought some of these may have surfaced on trade me now the 1150's have come out.
Still just a few new ones for more than retail.

1361080 2013-11-29 03:42:00 Several reasons spring to mind;
1. the 4xxx series is not much faster and doesn't overclock as well
2. To "upgrade" you have to replace the motherboard also so you'd have both to sell
3. because of 1. & 2. there's no reason to upgrade from a 3770k to a 4770k - little or nothing to gain for the expense
4. People is greedy - or more accurately perhaps they expect to get back all or most of what they spent so when a cheap one surfaces it'll get snapped up immediately.

I love building myself new machines and I'm itching to - but my current i7 3770 & i3 3220 machines are both more than good enough for me. Haswell will probably never grace my household so expect my 1155 gear to be on trade me when the next generation has been around for a while :)
