1360858 2013-11-25 21:35:00 Anyone using the Pro version of this program? Is it worth it, over what the free version does? Richard (739)
1360859 2013-11-25 22:13:00 Malwarebytes Pro gives full time protection over Malwarebytes Free

Think it's about $30 and certainly goes into action when it comes across a compromised Website, started using it when the "Ukash" Malware was doing the rounds

1360862 2013-11-26 04:51:00 Bit of a slippery question ( Sorry Cicero, couldn't resist ) :D How to answer with out actually answering ( political answer)

Personally on our computers the only active protection we have is Esets Smart Security ( Nod32 + Firewall) That seems to catch the majority.

Theres a set procedure we do every night, at the end of the night run Ccleaner to remove the junk. Then on Fridays while out shopping the antivirus scan runs, at least once a fortnight I run Malwarebytes and Super antispyware manually, they never find anything apart from tracking cookies if I haven't run Ccleaner yet.

Theres nothing wrong with having active protection like Malwarebytes as well, but its really up to the persons browsing habits I guess. Visit dodgy sites, some of the torrent sites etc or some of the porn sites - expect trouble to cum calling ;) :horrified

Quite clearly Richard has no need for pro model.

I knew you would sort Wai.

As for Greg, the brilliance of his hmour tells us why he keeps his day job as a bulders labourers assisstants mate.

Whats wrong with running free Ccleaner - takes about 10 seconds.

The antivirus takes care of itself and is set to run when no ones using the PC's.

Running free antimalware.

Whats Total cost of ownership (TCO) got to do with anything.??? All the software is doing exactly whats its meant to.

1360866 2013-11-26 21:38:00 Thanks for the tips guys. With my Ccleaner, NOD32 antivirus, and Malwarebytes Antimalware free, I should be pretty right in keeping my computer clean and free of baddies. Cicero and Wai will be relieved that I don't visit those nasty porn sites. By the way Wai, you were going to detail the steps for setting up Nod32 to run to schedule, as the Youtube vid you made was a bit fast to follow. If you have already done this, I may have missed it. 1360867 2013-11-26 21:51:00 The instructions are roughly half done Richard, just haven't had time to do them fully - Working on it :) wainuitech (129)
