1360440 2013-11-21 01:35:00 Is getting into qt worthwhile?

Everywhere I look I see older programs being ported into qt.
How does it compare to .Net and Java?

Is there a market for this in NZ?

Any insight would be helpful.

I believe QT is mostly for embedded devices and phones. If you're looking for a graphic development tool, you may want to look at Torque, as it is cross platform and cheap.

When you say qt are you referring to Apple's Quick Time video codec? I'm just asking because I've never heard of someone wanting to get into qt before.

What area of software/application development are you wanting to get into?
