| 1360276 | 2013-11-29 19:29:00 | I use a Tom Tom when in the city or driving to an unfamiliar place. I have the Ossy Osbourne plugin which tells me to 'take the next f....ing turn on my left' or 'you are now at your f...ing destination'. Don't tend to use it much tho when kids or grandma is in the car. Then I use my Samsung s3 - does a great job. | Paul Ramon (11806) | ||

We don't have a smart phone, just two basic cellphones, so decided it is the best option. Just have to find time to practice now and learn to use it. Many thanks for all comments, which were most useful in helping make a decision. Next time you go somewhere ( other than the corner shops or supermarket) just plug it in and plot your journey - The process normally takes less than 5 minutes. Then start your journey... On a side note, Tom Toms are good but smart phones would be better in the long run as they can do more, even if it means trading up from your current basic phone. Other than that, enjoy your Tom Tom adventures <thumbs> |
