1359926 2013-11-27 00:47:00 Does your phone have a vibrate function when it rings?
I find if you use a combination of vibrate, lighting up and ringing then its kinda hard to miss phone calls - cause you are either going to feel it if its in your pocket or hear it vibrate and ring if its sitting on a table.. If you are still missing all of those cues it's time for a hearing aid and glasses.

1359928 2013-11-27 01:20:00 I note that the app in question alters volume due to ambiaen sound, what I want is an increase in volume, even set on Max it is not at a level I would like.
You need a phone with a volume control that goes to 11 then.

If I had known I would have bought one for the the deaf.

I will look at Dugi's idea of having it all going at once.

1359930 2013-11-27 03:29:00 Try these apps ... ?

Speaker Boost play.google.com
Volume Booster play.google.com
Volume+ FREE play.google.com

I have not used any of these apps, so read about them and decide for yourself.

Much as I enjoy credit that wasn't me, I suggested a different ring tone :)
I downloaded an app from the playstore on mine that has classic ring tones, number 45 has about 4 different ones going off at once and may just wake the dead play.google.com

1359932 2013-11-27 05:22:00 I have Smoke on the water as my ring tone, the actual song not some crappy polyphonic version. Its loud enough for me to hear over most power tools if I'm close enough gary67 (56)
