1359917 2013-11-26 21:29:00 Another thing has become apparent with the change in the email app. In the old version, it used to have a menu item saying "Show pictures" with a check box. There was then a second "Always show pics from this sender" menu with another check box. Both of those items have gone, and now when my daughter sends me attached pix, they don't show. :-( John H (8)

1359919 2013-11-26 23:01:00 While on the subject of cell phone, is it possible to increase the volume via apps or something?

Volume of ring tone that is.

1359921 2013-11-26 23:51:00 Last time I tried it was just "Hold the volume up key".

If you've got music playing or you're in an app, it'll then adjust the "Media" volume though which is independent.

1359922 2013-11-27 00:05:00 Ah sorry lads, what I want is an increase in ring tone volume.

1359923 2013-11-27 00:11:00 I note that the app in question alters volume due to ambiaen sound, what I want is an increase in volume, even set on Max it is not at a level I would like. Cicero (40)
1359924 2013-11-27 00:35:00 Your phone can't go any higher then. What model phone is it? Chilling_Silence (9)
1359925 2013-11-27 00:38:00 Try another tone, the classic old bell type rings are remarkably loud compared to all the melodies for example dugimodo (138)
