Sounds like they've got similar specs (this is an HP mini tho), 1.6 ghz but this is 2 GB ram and I replaced it with a 320 GB. The hdd that was in it, was knackered when the person gave it to me |

| 1375417 | 2014-05-22 00:25:00 | I gota another problem now. I have made up, 3 I think, different Linux's and each time I try to bot the syem comes up with, Bootmgr is missing Press Ctr+Alt+Del to restart. Thats when it's booting to the usb. When I boot to the hard drive I just get a flashing underscore. I guess there is no point in making up any more Linux's? |

Just make sure you select the letter for the flash drive. Then select the ISO. Wait for it to finish. Then plug the flash drive in reboot change the bootdisk to it. Then see if it works It you changed the bootdisk to the hdd and it wont boot into windows, it sounds like something stuffed up If the flash drive is still in you have to remove it if you want to boot into windows. It maybe trying to boot from it. And it doesnt have windows files on it When this came up did you change the bootdisk in the BIOS to the flash drive? Bootmgr is missing Press Ctr+Alt+Del to restart. |

Hi, yes I've set the BIOS to boot from USB plus also set up F12, so I can tell it what to boot to. Before it would boot off the usb and run from there, now I get the; Bootmgr is missing Press Ctr+Alt+Del to restart. So can't do no thing from there. Ctr+Alt+Del is just a repeat. I'm downloading another one now and will try that. Ian |
