How, in firefox do I kill, the bandwidth hogging, datacap goobbling, very very annoying, player thing that turns up every now and then beside the scroll bar when I come to these pages.

You mean this: sal.neoburn.net

You will need to install the flash Blocker extension

See this thread: pressf1.pcworld.co.nz for more

301226 2004-12-09 04:22:00 Stu,

Yes, that evil player thing.

I had to install flash to get one of the sites I need to use to run properly.

Previously I did not have it but the site "Upgraded" to flash (A big DOWNGRADE IMHO).

IS the flash blocker configurable or does it block all.

Don’t know, that’s why I want to try it out :)

But I think to what I have read here is that you can turn it off/on or allow some sites etc...

Find out we will.

The evil goes, even if I must uninstall flash. And relegate the site that needs it to another brouse.

301229 2004-12-09 04:32:00 If you have the adblock extension, just block anything with a "script" node-name, as well as anything from acsrv.mediaonenetwork.net
Using the * wildcard prpoerly is most effective in making the site more zippy.

301232 2004-12-09 05:06:00 Get the Adblock extension and do this (sal.neoburn.net)

Note I used the * wildcard
