After I uninstalled a program called Firegraphics, the icons on my desktop had changed to windows default and would not respond anymore to clicking. User Pheonix had a similiar problem in the past and had pointed out that xp_fileassociations.bat restores the icons. that worked a treat and all my icons are nicely restored by that batch file (gem!). Still however, clicking on the icons will not launch the programs and everything is on disk as before. What could be wrong? cheers and thanks Johan |
