| 301456 | 2004-12-09 21:12:00 | Do you mean the connection status window that can pop up just after you've connected? If so, try this: open network connections from the control panel, right-click on your ISP's connection and choose properties. Under the general tab, make sure that the 'show icon in notification area' box is ticked. That will send the connection notification to the system tray, instead of popping up on your desktop. If you're talking about the yellow bubble that appears, I wouldn't worry. That's normal. No doubt theres a way of eliminating them, but I can't be too bothered. They don't hack me off enough.
