| 302295 | 2004-12-12 08:26:00 | I was trying to load a modem card on my laptop and while i was in device manager deleted something i think it was to do with pcmcia now photos and images are not clear but appear grainy (see dots). I've checked display and resolution and everything is working normal what have i done? any help much appreciated. | jimmy (1346) | ||

| 302299 | 2004-12-12 10:04:00 | It really does sound like you have lost your display drivers. If it was the display adapter that was removed, it will have reloaded with default drivers. That usually causes the problems you describe. To be certain, can you advise what the settings are (Control Panel - Display - Settings)? The screen resolution and Colour Quality would be interesting. If the resolution is 640 x 480, that would be the problem. |

| 302300 | 2004-12-13 05:05:00 | Hi Godfarther, Iv'e checked display settings and they are at 800x600 16 bit ? i think you may be right its something to do with the drivers/adapters. cheers. |
