| 302107 | 2004-12-11 20:46:00 | Morning all. I have installed on my home computer an apache webserver and sucessfully installed MYSQL as well. I have a cable (telstra saturn) conenction and can access the server acros the net. It displays HTML pages real well. But when I try to run PHP code (have installed version 5) it doesnt seem to recognise it or do anything. I have reinstalled all the software with a download from www.apachefriends.org/en/ . I am running Fedora Core 3. Now I am baffled. Any hints on anything obvious I am not doing. Looking forward to your replys. Regards Richard |

| 302111 | 2004-12-12 20:19:00 | You might want to have a look at a program called XAMPP (free) which is apache/mysql/php/perl/ all pre-configured so it's easy to install. I use the windows version for testing out web stuff, and it works great. www.apachefriends.org |
