302086 2004-12-11 18:20:00 For the second month in a row I have not been switched over to Jetstream 2mbit!!!!!!!!!!! After countless restarts of my router - including leaving it off for 10+ minute stretches I am still stuck on 256k speed. The usage meter shows me on the correct plan yet I'm still unable to reap the benefits.

Telecom gave me a credit last time, but I'm really getting sick of this. Do I have any other recourse?

302090 2004-12-12 00:42:00 Im loving it - Done 22Gigs this month and still kicking at 2mbit

Im debating cancelling the Ihug flat-rate 256kbps service and just sticking with this, although the faster upload would be nicer on the 256kbps (Its flat up/down 32KB/s)

Chill.

302092 2004-12-12 03:22:00 well I'm a tech and often downloading programs .....but I dont get over 3gb usually i can only guess what those of you downloaing 60gb in a month are up to ................ridiculous.........if you did that every month you'd be buying/burning a lot of cd/dvd's or filling up hard drives flat out......... drcspy (146)
302093 2004-12-12 03:22:00 Im amazed you guys can download so much.... What do u use all that on.... Every Linux distro there is + updates..???? + "freeware" software? Ashley Matthews (550)
302094 2004-12-12 03:58:00 Remember the meters are counting both incoming and outgoing data and are counting all the data in the frames which include all the TCP/IP header information, etc so it all adds up.
Example according to Telecom site I used to consistantly use 18 to 25GB per month but Paradise usage meter which is only counting data showed me only using about 4 to 8GB.
