| 302021 | 2004-12-11 09:21:00 | Hi, I regularly watch DVD's or play games on my TV via my PC and have always put up with a crappy picture. Was wondering if this is normal and/or if there is anything I can do to clean up the image. I have a radeon 9000 series card with std TV out which connects via a svideo cable to a sony rear proj TV. Any advice much appreciated. |

| 302022 | 2004-12-11 09:23:00 | forgot to mention that the picture is ok except for scrolling wavy lines that only affect this input, ie. all other inputs like sky, DVD, video as well as normal aerial TV are perfect. | tvgts (5773) | ||

Make sure that the PC to TV cable is not run close to any mains cables. If it's an "earth loop" creating the problem it could be harder to eliminate though, as TV sets often are "floating" with no connection to the earth in the mains due to their construction. |

Are you plugging the svideo cable into an svideo port in your TV? If so, then this could be your problem. Mike. |
