302009 2004-12-11 09:11:00 When i want to install any software from the installation dvd the comp wants to use cdrom hdc. I want it to use cdrom hdd. The hdc is a cdrom.
How do I change it

You might be able to add a path to the command line which lauches the software installation program. Not knowing what distro you have (I think you kept swapping between Mandrake and Fedora?) makes it hard to be more specific. :)

But for Fedora, have a read of:
cat /usr/share/doc/system-config-packages-1.2.20/README

Fedora Core 2/3 package manager is lauched by system-config-packages.
