302779 2004-12-14 00:28:00 Hi, still haven't installed the SP2 update yet so have been experimenting with different programs to see what I really do want [ and record how I personalise them on paper.] That way when I finally take the big step I can reformat, reinstall a clean XP SP1 and then update from CD. And only the programs I definitely want will go on to the clean system.

Always thought the sticky re: problems others had and how they solved them would still be around at top of page. However they have now gone.

So, my question now is:
If I go into Search on the new forum setup and enter "Re: XP SP2 - experiences thread" will I still be able to find all the posts relating to it?

If you would rather I try this on the new forum and then ask - that's fine with me, because at the moment I can still go into Search and find them all and copy/print them all.

But,I have got to go out for a.4 hours soon and I won't have time to copy/ print them all before I leave. Will they still be there around 6-7pm?

2] We will be bringing over all the old posts.

Does that mean that they'll bring over all the old posts?

302783 2004-12-14 01:09:00 Yes, old threads will be brought over. The thread is still here, of course, I was just cleaning up the top end so that folks would spot the message about downtime tomorrow.
