2004-12-14 04:02:00 | Your personal phone line should not be connected "before" the PABX . It should go to your personal phones and personal computer . ;-) Lines going into a PABX should have nothing else on them . When you get it all working, get a box of sticky labels . Write identifying numbers on them and attach them to all the cables . Put matching labels on the sockets which they live in .

2004-12-14 05:18:00 | Why should it not be before incoming lines of the pabx? it doesnt go through the pabx at all where the comps plug in...........???? it is working? why do i need stickies? because its a blonde thing........ :( nothing else on them such as what????? now im confused and i started the beep thread................. :( beetle

2004-12-14 05:34:00 | What Graham was saying, is why does the personal line go through the PABX at all? There should be no need, its not part of the business phone system - or is it? Perhaps all lines are classified as Business as suggested above?

2004-12-14 05:40:00 | I have no idea why it goes through the pabx..........?:| just that it does. all calls are monitored, and reported on by callista. down to how much it costs. how long and who called and where to. so nothing gets past the system........ beyound my comprehension at this point and i also wont get a straight answer im sure. beetle

2004-12-14 06:28:00 | So . . . if Callista even monitors your personal line, and it goes via the PABX, then its probably a "personal line" in name only? In reality it's just another business line that you use for your "home number"? Hence the business rates even for internet calls .
