| 302722 | 2004-12-14 00:15:00 | I tried to register at the chat room and was promised a password would be sent to my email address but it never arrived and now I am told my User Name is not available. Of course it isn't as I haven't been able to complete the registration. | Cymbalz (4460) | ||

| 302724 | 2004-12-14 00:36:00 | Have you entered the chatrooms address as an "OK" contact in your email program? If you have given a hotmail address, is your junk email folder set up to toss out contents immediately? If so set it to a lower security setting, eg empty junk folder after a certain amount of days. You can change it back to the higher setting as soon as you receive the email confirming your password etc. If you look at Beetle's post re: chatf1, one of the posts mentions the chatroom site that you can enter as a safe contact in your email program. hope that helps. |
