304475 2004-12-17 11:12:00 Or go back to basics - use machine language and use the "hbf" command (Halt, Burst into Flames) or the assembly language "rex" (Remote EXplode).

Do not try this at home !

304476 2004-12-17 12:11:00 Go to run, type shutdown -i and choose the options you require ie shutdown, logoff etc. You must be an admin on both PC for this to work and it does work in a workgroup. My kids hate it when I do it to them when I want them off the laptop. berryb (99)
304477 2004-12-17 12:27:00 I just go into command prompt and then type.... shutdown -s -m <Computer Name or IP> -c "<comment>"

or you could put one off these
-s = shutdown
-r = restart
-l = log off
-a abort
