| 305282 | 2004-12-18 09:32:00 | I have set up a new computer with xppro I now want to use yahoo messenger to webcam and chat (Voice) with relatives. The yahoo thingy says I can't access voice or cam because I have a firewall. I disabled sygate and still got the same message Is xp firewall blocking me can I tell the firewall to let me access webcam, voice and how do I do this I really appreciate your help regards, Ojos |

Most firewalls have a "learn" mode, where you will get prompted to allow or disallow any incoming or outgoing packets, so see if you've got this option, activate it and try again. If it asks you for permission to let your programmes to connect to Yahoo, allow it and create a permanent rule, then just reset your firewall to how it was before. | Greg (193) | ||
