305950 2004-12-20 08:49:00 I'm using Mandrake 10.1, kde 3.2. I can get sound from the built in m/b sound in the headphones, but not from sound card. I've got a Creative live soundcard, the right module is selected (emu10k), lspci shows it's there, lsmod shows the modules loaded but used by 0. The other sound modules are used by 1. How do you change that. I've had all this working before on Mdk 10.

305953 2004-12-21 09:45:00 I fixed it.
After checking all the modules ect, hardware config n all that stuff. I googled, someone said they had the same fault, switch to Gnome, it works, switch back to kde & it don't. I switched to ice windowmaker (yuk) (gnome not installed) nothing worked in that, switched back to kde & everything is tikettyboo. Rebooted for a test & all's well.
