| 305575 | 2004-12-19 14:00:00 | Something you could try is to remove the saved password(s) from Thunderbird: Click Tools > Options > Advanced. Under the Saved Passwords section click "View Saved Passwords". Remove both the POP password and the SMTP password. Click Close, then Ok Restart Thunderbird. You should be prompted to input your password again when you next send or receive mail I have come across a few cases when Thunderbird will sometimes "forget" your password even though you have saved it previously. Doing the above has always fixed the problem. |

| 305577 | 2004-12-20 03:35:00 | This sounds like a problem with the smtp server. Contact the smtp server admin (or isp if it is the isp's one) because it will only ask you for the password again (if you ticked the remember password thing) if it authenicated wrong (or wrong password) |
