2004-12-21 05:28:00 Interested to hear your views on compatible/remanufactured inkjet cartridges verses the real thing. Am using HPdeskjet 656c for colour and blk/white. Also a Canon BJC 210SP for Blk/white text. Light usage averaging about ten pages text per week, some with colour inserts. Also does anyone know of cheaper prices than those offered by Computer Food/ www.consumables.co.nz. ? Thanks. katharinem (3459)

2004-12-21 07:16:00 One I bookmarked when searching for toner refills may be worth a look, although I cannot recall if their prices were good or bad.

2004-12-21 07:59:00 I've been using Nujet cartridges in my HP 5550 with good results. The prices on that site look pretty good except the black can be got a little cheaper but the bundles (colour/black/paper) look very good. Bear in mind I'm comparing for the 5550 not your model.

I get most of my cartridges delivered by one of the office supply crowds, if I need one in a hurray it's off the Warehouse Stationary. I guess either of those options will be out of reach to you

2004-12-21 08:28:00 I have an Epson color 440 and use refill cartridges from Cartridge World here in Auckland. Cost $20 and no problems except taking too long to put the new cartridge back in place when I got back from the shop. Print head dried up & had to get Cartridge World to flush it for me. Since then no probs. Peter M (852)
2004-12-21 08:32:00 For the branded cartidges I have consistently found Corporate Consumables to be the cheapest. I think they're only in the main centres but will courier orders. Shortstop (632)
2004-12-21 08:36:00 Junior Member? How flattering as I am only months off picking up the pension? I must have missed a beat here as I did belong to previous incarnations of PressF1. How do I change the description to something more apt? Shortstop (632)
