hi guys, i got a problem with my pc. Since i reformated my pc its been runnin really slow, it takes a long time to open up pages and when i play counter strike it gets REALLY Laggy. I scanned my pc for viruses and found some, i removed them tho, i also scanned for adware and spyware found some and removed that also. I was wondering wut else might be wrong with my pc? plz help, thx for reading |

Did you install your motherboard drivers? |

what are you system spec's buddy? how fast is your cpu etc, amount of ram etc etc |

Yes I got everything installed on my pc. My pc is a inter pentium 3, 800 mgz, 128 ram, ati rage pro fury video card. I know sounds like a ****ty pc, which it is. But still I know my pc i had it for like 5 years, its not spose to run like that even with xp. I had xp before and it ran perfectly fine, now its runnin like i have the worse virus if them all. |

your pc seems that it needs more ram, 128 is useable but not recommended, you need at least 256 or more, then it will be faster. ram is pretty cheap these days, go get some more :)
and have you updated your virus scanner? |

I'm just guessing -but maybe bad sectors? Have you done scandisk? |

I honestly do think it is a driver problem. Pay special attention to your video card and AGP drivers. |

But DR did say it was running XP OK before the format, so I guess all the bits are OK. |
