| 307212 | 2004-12-24 20:47:00 | Merry Xmas all. I am trying to install a Cannon BJC4000 on my system running Win2K Pro. On going to the printer folder in control panel, I get the popup message "Printer operation cannot continue due to lack of resources. The print subsystem is unavailable" The printer has previously been installed on this system and worked fine. I don't know how it became uninstalled as I dont remember doing it. The printer is connected correctly and powers up OK, but of course does not go online. I do have the origional printer driver disk, but we dont get far enough down the track for the computer to ask for it. I have tried shutting the system down and restarting it. AMD Athlon 1.3(?) gig, 256 odd ram, 40 gig HDD and W2K Pro. |
