| 306684 | 2004-12-22 04:36:00 | Hi guys, I've just completed a Fedora Core 3 install for my dad's PC, he will be using it at school, mainly for music and DVD movies for the kids (teaches a special needs class) Everything is running well, I just installed the Ogle DVD player and it works good, only problem is I'm not getting the 5.1 audio from the Sound Blaster Live card. I am only getting audio from the 2 front speakers. I've been googling but haven't come across anything yet which resembles my problem. Any relevant thoughts or advice will be most welcome. cheers chiefnz |

Run: alsamixer from the command line and it'll let you configure your speaker output. Then as root, run: alsactl store #0 Enjoy Chill. |
