| 307300 | 2004-12-28 09:32:00 | A BHO is a browser Helper object, As with many of these things it was devised by MS to add extra functions to its browser, And instead was exploited for the purpose of evil.:dogeye: Just looking at mine now,The only one resident is the agent from Flashget that grabs downloads when a link is clicked on a page viewed by IE. Many of the items displayed by Hijackthis are BHO's. The reason i mentioned them in your case was not because of spyware,browsers hijacks though but in the event that you may have a broken/correpted entry that relates to playback of flash files. What i suggested was a bit of a clean sweep......at worst it may have disabled a toolbar,maybe asked for the re-instalation of certain browser add-ons. |
