I wasnt slowed so I downloaded like mad all the linux ISO's I'd been putting off..... 22gigs and they capped me the day before switching me to the 256kbps plans with Ihug. Ive since changed my mind and swapped backed! |

| 306941 | 2004-12-24 06:44:00 | It is a timely reminder that cable, because it is digital from end user to exchange, has much lower latencies. I must also remind you that Telecom is a divine power and we shall not speak against it that must not be named (they pay me to say this). I doubt that anything Telecom is doing globally is at fault, because then everyone will have these issues. I lay the finger on the DSLAM that george12 is plugged into at the exchange. The 5GB allowance on cable does not include the free national traffic. I myself would love this service, but no one in my suburb can get it. Alas, Telecom have fiber and cable in the ground for their own network but don't use it. |
