| 306669 | 2004-12-22 04:30:00 | Hi there, I have finally persuaded my mum to get me an MP3 player for christmas (as well as my other more expensive present). Now, with my $70 or so cash plus about $50 of present value, I can afford around $120. So that is my price limit. I DID know the perfect one, I get it from my wholesaler for $105. But it's not there anymore :(. So what is the best one to buy in your opinion? USB 2.0 is a must 256MB preferred Hope to have a card slot (SD / MMC) Must have a screen (showing song info) Hopefully all the nice extras like equalizer, menu etc, voice recording Anyone know the perfect model? |

I'm not sure how much it retails for, but I think it should be around the price you're looking for. Otherwise I'd suggest an iRiver (but not an iPod). |

| 306673 | 2004-12-22 05:59:00 | That last one looks good. I might buy it if no other choices come up. Mmm, my new keyboard is great! The "Speed EX-2" I searched for in Google NZ - the only 4 matches were on Trademe - and they were all closed. I don't like the AV220 myself. The cheapest of them all, I get the 128MB version for $59. Can't source a cheap 256MB model of it though. But anyway, although they sell wonderfully, I personally think they are too simple and featureless. No screen, only 3 buttons: Play/On/Off, Next and Previous. Cheers George |

I would ask for the money and save up just a tiny little extra for the MSI MegaStick. Infact -I think at wholesale price, you should just be able to get the 128mb version with $120. |

| 306678 | 2004-12-22 08:41:00 | I got the Harma HK-852, a really nice silver and black one with all the extra buttons at the top I could ever want :D. Cost me $11, lowest price I have seen retail is $19 though. Wireless sounds cool. Lucky you :). I also got a new optical mouse, same price actually. It is an actual decent one, unlike these funny UGLY, UGLY ones I can (but don't) get for $6....... I didn't have much money at the time, was actually considering a $3 ball mouse ... but HELL NO was my though after a few seconds! Cheers |
