Also, how do I Rip songs from a music CD onto the hard drive using Nero 6. Thanks in anticipation. John W |

2004-12-27 07:47:00 | Hi there John W, Yes you can do both these tasks in Nero 6. You need to open up Nero StartSmart and go to audio then click on encode audio files. Then to rip songs from cd you do the same but click on the convert audio cds to audio files. HTH :D

2004-12-27 08:21:00 | John W - Nero Express does not have StartSmart. To rip tracks to your HD - Open Nero Express - click on More tab at the bottom of window - then select Save Tracks. | Shortstop (632) | |

2004-12-27 09:42:00 | Try this free program to convert your CD's into mp3's (doesn't seem to do wma to mp3 though) - CDex (cdexos.sourceforge.net). Ripping your audio CD's directly to mp3's is handy. Haven't used it for ages, but was quite easy to use back then. :) | Jen (38) | |
2004-12-27 17:18:00 | Just remember that converting one lossy compressed format to another, ie WMA to MP3, is going to result in a noticeable lack of quality. | Greg (193) | |
