| 307559 | 2004-12-27 06:01:00 | OK, thanks. Does anyone have either of these and/or know how well they perform on games like Doom 3 and Half-Life 2? Yeah, hi I've got a Radeon 9600XT. It performs very well with HL2 as well as Doom 3. I haven't had any problems with the card at all. It's doesn't overclock very much but it's not really built for a mega OC. I've had the card for a few months and it does quite well. Can't play HL2 or Doom3 with all the eye candy on, but the levels that are selected in both the games, make them look pretty awesome. Like I said before, save your pennies and try to get your hands on a 9800 Pro or X600/X800 card. cheers chiefnz |
