| 307652 | 2004-12-26 10:12:00 | I've got the same problem with AVG as has been described in earlier posts....locked out of incoming mail. (Eudora free 3.0.6) In the meatime I've managed by ....uninstall/custom reinstal "uncheck e-mail scan", but I'd like to get it working with the virus scan and will try some of the other suggestions. Could some one tell me where I can check the port entries pop3 110 and smtp 25 ? Thanks for any help..Ken | paradox (1082) | ||
| 307653 | 2004-12-26 10:53:00 | As I recall, open AVG and click on the e-mail box. Down the bottom should now appear a button called Properties. Click this, then in the new window, click on confirguration. It is in there, just can't recall where. | pheonix (36) | ||
| 307654 | 2004-12-26 23:00:00 | Hi Paradox, try downloading a document from Grisoft called "AVG 7.0 Anti-Virus AVG E-mail Scanner Installation Guide". It describes how to manually configure EMS. Another useful document is "Firewall Settings for AVG Free Edition Installation Guide" also available from Grisoft. HTH PC |
