No Idea if the Cars been recovered or not, but you can reasonably sure the insurance wouldn't pay out as much as was spent on it. I think you're missing the point, the only mods that car has are the wheels which are worth at best $3k with wheels and tyres. The car itself, in stock form will easily go for $50-$60k.. Its not whats been spent, its the actual market value. Same as what makes a Lamborghini go for $200,000 or more, its not what was spent on it, its market value. Thats how insurance works, it replaces your items for market value. Most of the time anyway. ha ha ha. As if rare in NZ means anything. Not sure what point you're trying to make here? So is the actual article and owner telling BS ? a Nissan R34 GT-R V-spec Model, was worth about $65,000 after the extensive modifications he had made. The last time i saw him he was parked up cleaning it . This is NOT a boy racer skyline . This car does not rip the "mad as skids" it's 4wd twin turbo . You can argue the value all you like .
