| 1361898 | 2013-12-06 17:51:00 | Reminds me of many years ago, in ones youth, a mate got caught in bed with a farmers young daughter. (The result of the old climb through the bedroom window, which had been conveniently left open.) Anyway, the farmer marched him off butt naked to the cowshed where he tied the mate to a rail and let a couple of calves out of an adjacent pen. :crying That farmers daughter became a lot less attractive as the word got around. ;) Imagine if that happened today, oh the outrage. |

| 1361901 | 2013-12-06 21:15:00 | He deserved what he got, taking the law into your own hands is a risky game. Indeed. Although the situation came about due to a (perceived or real) lack of action by police to an ongoing string of thefts - what's a guy (and his Pasifika tribemates) supposed to do? Bear in mind that the 'duffing up and swimming lessons' was allowed as part of the 'citizen arrest' (assault charges were dropped), it was the detainment while driving around looking for the stolen gear that crossed the line into kidnapping. I'm wondering what will be crossing the minds of the scrotes the next time they are considering liberating someone elses gear - my bet is it won't be their community service sentence. |
