We are being warned not to click on links to spurious sites - yet so many NZ banks and other businesses are using US/spurious sites to track their customers' activities. How is the average email recipient to know what is a spurious link or not? They should be obliged to include a statement in every email stating "We use overseas activity tracking to find out about what our customers are clicking" including a reference to infusionsoft, list-manage etc. Otherwise how can average email users know what is a good or bad link? |
