| 1479600 | 2021-08-18 00:40:00 | never understood the fuss, boring music. You are in the minority. They are the biggest and most successful group. On the chart dated April 4, 1964, the Fab Four monopolised the top five on the Billboard Hot 100, marking the only time one act has ever done so. If you don't like The Beatles, what sort of music do you like? |

| 1479604 | 2021-08-18 01:59:00 | They are ok, not my cup of tea. Beatallica though... :) I'm quite certain that's not how Lennon and McCartney meant it sound. But then, I suppose they would not mind too much as long as they received the royalties. Unfortunately, as I understand it, Sony now owns all the rights to their music.:annoyed: - it's not as though they need the money.:waughh: |

| 1479607 | 2021-08-18 05:33:00 | Thanks for the link Roscoe, I think it has solved for me a long standing question. Back in the 60s I had a mate who was a brilliant musician. He could play any musical instrument and is still the only person Ive encountered that could listen to a tune and write the music that he was listening to. However, the one band that used to drive him mad was the Beetles. He never mastered their music and that clip explained why. They were playing Tapes Backward and Forward, introducing feedback and completely confounding the purists. They didnt need to Copyright their work. We had individuals like Elvis who will always be The King but amongst all the great Bands the Beetles are right up there as far as Im concerned. :) |
