| 1479296 | 2021-08-11 23:50:00 | arrrgh , grrrrr , %$&*&%R 95% of the time : no issues They will sell goods they dont have in stock. They wont let you know of any stock or shipping issues Refunds can be hit or miss The sometimes add actual shipping in the purchase price , then they can give a low low $2 shipping cost to NZ Let me tell you a story After 4 years of purchasing stuff from BG, at least 1 order per month ... Purchased an item . I also bought their shipping insurance Item arrived damaged . Contacted them many times , email , online chat etc. I was ignored . The shipping insurance I paid for was worthless. Their after sales support is very hit & miss. Previously I had no issues getting refunds . They obviously had a policy change So I will no longer but from them. Dishonesty shouldnt be rewarded . Thats going to cost me money , as they are/were the cheapest for many widgets I buy One scam they do is to demand the goods be returned for warranty or refund. So paypall cant refund untill goods returned They will either supply a bogus adress to send to, or simply refuse to accept/collect returned goods : so you'll have no refund & no goods . And they know its too usually expensive to send back . The higher $ value in goods, the more issues you'll have getting refunds . In summary. Over the 4 or so years, Ive saved alot of $ buying from them. no worse than aliexpress . Many have a good experience . Some have a terrible experience . Never pay more than you are willing to loose Allways use paypall |

| 1479299 | 2021-08-12 04:23:00 | Other than buying, You know I had a ph call about a job I applied for....she asked me, what did I know about them, yes bad of me not to check before applying, so I did (before she rang back to arrange interview) I have withdrawn my application. I won't say who, but geez, never mind the court case, I found quite a bit of Commerce Commission tellings off too. Pays to check places out first. |

| 1479301 | 2021-08-12 22:25:00 | That does not look like a good site. I'd personally stay away from it. As I noted above, its no worse than Aliexpress or any other Ch online seller . Even ebay can be just as bad (Ch sellers) Sometimes , if you want to buy a particular thing, you have little choice And over the 4 years I bought from them , Ive saved many hundreds of $ as their prices were so much cheaper than many other sellers . So I had 4 years of monthly purchases with no major issues , and 4 years of good after sales support . Then the one issue that p%%sed me off . I may eventually buy from them again , if the price is so good I cant resist . The problem with reputation lookups & sellers review lists, its often the few angry buyers that will rant their. The many who have no issues wont bother to put up a review on those seller review sites. Gearbest has an even worse reputation, I'd still buy from Gearbest if the price was right . Even some NZ based sellers & trademe shops are just as bad (from experience) . |

| 1479302 | 2021-08-12 22:31:00 | As 1101 said above Never pay more than you are willing to loose and Always use PayPal. That is the rule I use when dealing with anyone not known or easily sorted out in NZ. | CliveM (6007) | ||
