Not quite! you just have to get a ticket off the hook, take it to the check out and collect them there just as is suggested for Supermarket knives. :)
If someone is determined to hurt random strangers for any reason they will find a way of doing so no matter what is banned.

I wonder why he didn't take a knife, perhaps none in his house?

Husband got caught in the middle of a 2 guys gang fight once, one snatched a spade off the back of his ute and attempted to kill the other with it. He missed, got the ute instead...

1480262 2021-09-05 20:39:00 So the Government has admitted they knew about a problem with the subject law, so why didn’t the Solicitor General, Attorney-General or Justice Minister attend to the matter?

I’ll bet they picked up their wages.

Its just the way ALL NZ govts have done things .
Wait untill its too late, then panic & rush through what should have been done, rush it in a messy half arsed way .

Perhaps well see a reversal of the planned ban on plastic forks knives & spoons .

1480266 2021-09-06 03:42:00 They can ban plastic bags, close down the gas industry and lock down the country (1st time illegaly) all at the drop of a hat without any consultation but it is far to hard to deport someone or keep them locked up! CliveM (6007)

1480268 2021-09-06 07:36:00 This what happens with sickly left liberal communist party government in power. But they are assured of power because of the black votes in many seats Porirua Christchurch and South Auckland. prefect (6291)
