| 1475449 | 2021-03-10 18:37:00 | I have used Avast Premium Security for several years and have experienced no issues . What the anti for this programme? The Anti ?? You say you have the Premium - That's a paid version so you wont see all the troubles they create . Most people use the Free, which has regular popups wanting you to buy it, it is basically doing what Malware does . It installs items that most don't use Eg . VPN's and one of the real downers is it tries to alter quite a few of your browser and other setting so it does everything, when in fact it does nothing more than slow down your computer . I been to many peoples computers that have Avast and they are obviously infected, one noticeable thing, the moment you uninstall it the computer speeds up . The last one I went to and removed Avast from, as soon as it rebooted after removal the inbuilt Microsoft Defender kicked in and it detected and removed active malware that Avast totally missed . Ran a antimalware program I use, Adwcleaner located quite a few more and removed them, ran various others and they finished doing the cleanup . So the Anti is -- Its not good, there are way better . |

| 1475450 | 2021-03-10 21:35:00 | I have used Avast Premium Security for several years and have experienced no issues. What the anti for this programme? As above, look at the business practices of some of the Free AV companies : Selling browsing data to 3rd parties popups to CON less saving users into buying addons & AV upgrades they dont need Auto Installing addons when you set the option NOT to install these addons (eg: browser plugins) scareware tactics : ie BS, con job popups Really no better than malware . I see alot of people who buy the full product simply because they were conned into it . The one thing AVG & AVAST get right, is automatically updating the product to the newest version . The popular payware AV Endpoint doesnt do that (ie v7 to v7.3 , or v7 to v8 ). |
