Maybe its gods will there because of their military occupation of Palestine. Seems the vax makes the Covid less a killer if you are vaxxed and catch it but does not stop you getting it or transmitting it. I have had one jab next jab a couple of weeks away. I had to improvise....biggest mask you've ever seen...I used my jumper. They laughed...and let me in. if it works its all good |

I am relying on our communist government just to keep the virus out of NZ, so it does look good. yes, vaccination does stop you catching or stop you passing it on. tho i understand it does pass on for a short time, so it does reduce infection. so you need to have both measures, vaccination and social distancing. keeping people apart so they can't spread it is the only way to kill it. |

It wont give immunity . i think your idea of immunity is a little muddled. immunity from covid and from vaccination is the same thing. the difference is in the level of immunity. from surviving covid you can get a wide variation in immunity, from great to almost nothing. vaccination does give you immunity but there is some variation, but no where near as much as variation as the immunity from covid itself. all vaccination does, including vaccination from having covid, is that the body now knows how to fight covid. that speeds up the response of the body to kill covid. it doesn't stop you catching it, it simply means your body can kill it fast enough that your less likely to spread it to the next person, as well as not getting so sick from it. its not about stopping you getting infected, its about stopping you spreading it. if everyone doesn't spread it, then it dies out. |

It's not "out of control", the thing now is people aren't dying so much. Which is the point, you can never eliminate a virus completely. |

Israel's amount of daily/weekly infections is the highest now since covid started. deaths are right up there to. people are dying just as much now than at the start. the problem is they they are still only in the 60-70% range for vaccinations. its simply not enough. |
