| 308503 | 2004-12-29 04:36:00 | Ive got ClearNet as one of my ISPs. Just lately Ive been downloading quite a bit of music so I thought Id check to see how my bill looked. To do this I was advised that I had to install the latest VM Plug-in from a download site they provided. Having done that everything worked fine but I find I now have a Icon on my desktop called Java Web Start. Can someone explain briefly what Java Web Start is all about and what is a VM Plugin? Double-Clicking the Icon wants to hook onto the Internet for some obscure reason. Cheers Bob |

| 308504 | 2004-12-29 04:40:00 | Its for Java. Some sites need it so they do whatever properly. Opera and Firefox may also need it. If u have XP SP1 has Java as part of the install. |
