| 308091 | 2004-12-27 16:07:00 | hey everyone, for some reason, on my administrator account, whenever i press a key on the keyboard, nothing is typed, and i hear a strange "click/beep" type of sound coming from inside my computer. i thought it might be the keyboard, but then i switched to my sister's user name in windows xp, which i am using now, and all the keys work fine with no sound. so, i figure now that it must be some problem within my user account settings. it's very annoying. after restarting and all, it still does not work. could someone please help? thank you all, -kevin |

| 308092 | 2004-12-27 17:27:00 | Did all this start to happen suddenly? You haven't recently added any new devices that may be conflicting, that are only available to the administrator have you? If not, perhaps your user settings have been corrupted somehow. Welcome to PressF1 by the way. |
